Amy E. Corcoran

Amy E. Corcoran

Amy specializes in providing tax services to individuals, small business owners and nonprofit organizations. Prior to starting Amy E. Corcoran, CPA, Amy worked in the tax department of a large regional CPA firm for 14 years, focusing on operating businesses and nonprofit entities. She has a Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Tulane University. Amy is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Louisiana.

She is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPA’s and its New Orleans Chapter and the American Institute of CPAs. Amy is a member of the Junior League of New Orleans, the Young Leadership Council and the Krewe of Muses. She currently serves on the finance committee for Bricolage Academy. She is a past Board Member and Officer of the Young Leadership Council, Hands On New Orleans and New Orleans Faith Health Alliance.

Jennifer M. Bernard

Jennifer M. Bernard

Jennifer is a shareholder in the CPA firm of Corcoran & Bernard, CPAS LLC who has worked in the accounting industry for over fifteen years.  She has primarily served the needs of the owners of family-owned businesses and their managers to navigate the complex tax issues that exist throughout the business cycle – from formation to operation to exit strategy.  Her clients have included C corporations, consolidated C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, gifts, and estates in industries ranging from real estate to personal service and from software to hospitality and entertainment.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Loyola University New Orleans and a Masters of Accounting from the University of New Orleans.  Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Louisiana.

Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana CPAs.  Jennifer recently served as the Treasurer to the Board of Directors for the Junior League of New Orleans where she has also previously served as the Co-Chair of the Woman Entrepreneur Fellowship.  Her current role is as a member of the JLNO Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.  Jennifer is a graduate of the 2019 class of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute, a past Nominee for the CityBusiness Woman of the Year, and a current nominee for the 2020 class of CityBusiness Money Makers.  Jennifer resides in New Orleans with her husband Mark and her children Jane and Charles. 

Sarah Hughes Robin

Sarah began her career in public accounting after graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting in 2012. She has experience working both in accounting services and taxation. Sarah has also worked for her family’s restaurant and other small businesses giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of business owners and how we at Corcoran & Bernard CPAs can provide value to our clients not only through accounting services but also in an advisory capacity. She has provided accounting and tax services for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals and non-profit organizations in a wide range of industries.  Sarah also has extensive experience in multi-state taxation and in helping clients navigate through complex IRS and state tax audits.  Sarah has served on the Board of Directors of Café Hope and New Orleans EMS Foundation and as a member of the Junior League of New Orleans. Sarah lives in New Orleans with her husband Kerrigan, her son Hudson and her Golden Retriever Griffin. 

Tracy Canavan

Tracy Canavan

After many years serving in New Orleans robust hospitality industry, Tracy completed a Masters of Accounting from the University of New Orleans. She has spent the last four years honing her skills in the areas of bookkeeping and tax preparation. Tracy is a natural problem solver who seeks to work closely with small business clients in performing the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks required to maintain a healthy business. She serves clients in many industries from software development to real estate, but she most enjoys working with clients in the nonprofit space where she sees the impact of their work take shape in our community. Tracy currently serves on the board of Friends of New Orleans Public Library.
