Amy E. Corcoran

Amy specializes in providing tax services to individuals, small business owners and nonprofit organizations. Prior to starting Amy E. Corcoran, CPA, Amy worked in the tax department of a large regional CPA firm for 14 years, focusing on operating businesses and nonprofit entities. She has a Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Tulane University. Amy is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Louisiana.

She is a member of the Society of Louisiana CPA’s and its New Orleans Chapter and the American Institute of CPAs. Amy is a member of the Junior League of New Orleans, the Young Leadership Council and the Krewe of Muses. She currently serves on the finance committee for Bricolage Academy. She is a past Board Member and Officer of the Young Leadership Council, Hands On New Orleans and New Orleans Faith Health Alliance.

Jennifer M. Bernard

Jennifer is a shareholder in the CPA firm of Corcoran & Bernard, CPAS LLC who has worked in the accounting industry for over fifteen years.  She has primarily served the needs of the owners of family-owned businesses and their managers to navigate the complex tax issues that exist throughout the business cycle – from formation to operation to exit strategy.  Her clients have included C corporations, consolidated C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, gifts, and estates in industries ranging from real estate to personal service and from software to hospitality and entertainment.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Loyola University New Orleans and a Masters of Accounting from the University of New Orleans.  Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Louisiana.

Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana CPAs.  Jennifer recently served as the Treasurer to the Board of Directors for the Junior League of New Orleans where she has also previously served as the Co-Chair of the Woman Entrepreneur Fellowship.  Her current role is as a member of the JLNO Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.  Jennifer is a graduate of the 2019 class of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute, a past Nominee for the CityBusiness Woman of the Year, and a current nominee for the 2020 class of CityBusiness Money Makers.  Jennifer resides in New Orleans with her husband Mark and her children Jane and Charles.

Brittany began her career in the hospitality industry when she graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism. After working in the accounting department for a hotel for a few years, Brittany went back to University of New Orleans to earn her accounting degree. She has over 13 years of experience working in accounting services and taxation. Brittany has provided accounting and tax services for Estates, Trusts, C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals, and non-profit organizations in a wide range of industries. Brittany is licensed in both Louisiana and Texas and is a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She was previously a member of the New Orleans Estate Planning Council. With her free time, Brittany enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. Brittany resides in Texas with her husband, Joe.

Michelle is a Tax and Business Consulting Senior Manager with nine years of experience in accounting. Prior to joining Corcoran & Bernard CPAs, she worked in the compliance department of a regional wealth management firm for six years. There she provided tax and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and families including the taxation of their partnerships, corporations, small businesses, and trusts. She also provided consulting services such as estate planning including gift tax.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Louisiana. She is also a member of the Society of Louisiana CPA’s and the Junior League of New Orleans where she serves as a Council Treasurer.

Michelle is a New Orleans native and currently resides in Gentilly.

Anna Breaux

Anna came to C&B after serving as the Chief Financial Officer of a local school for five years. In this role, Anna was responsible for overseeing the operations of the finance office including preparation for the financial statement audit and reporting to the Board of Directors. Since earning her Masters of Accounting in 2000, she has been providing business advisory services to clients for over twenty years both as a certified public accountant and an attorney. During her time in public accounting, she performed audit and attestation services, tax preparation and litigation support. Her law practice focused on tax planning and fraud investigations. In addition, Anna has used her professional skills to assist many non-profits in the local area, having served on the Boards of the Preservation Resource Center, the New Orleans Oral School, Easter Seals, Lambeth House and the Vincent Memorial Legacy Fund Committee of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Jen Capetilli

Jen specializes in providing bookkeeping and consulting services to individuals, small business owners and nonprofit organizations. Jen came to Corcoran & Bernard CPAs in 2023. Before joining the firm, Jen worked as a Comptroller for three years at Covenant House New Orleans and worked for over 10 years as a Senior Manager in the Consulting Department at a large regional CPA firm. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College and a Pre CPA certificate from the University of New Orleans. Jen is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Louisiana.

Jen is an active member in her community. A mom of three kids, she is particularly active in their schools. She regularly chairs events, such as tennis tournaments and galas and is especially passionate about raising awareness and advocacy for those with disabilities as her middle child has Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy. She is past Chair of WINGS (the Young’s Women’s Group of the United Way Women’s Leadership
Committee), past member for Preservation Resource Center, and Committee Chair for Soul Revival and WYES.

When Jen is not at work or attending various events for her kids, she enjoys tennis and all that the City of New Orleans has to offer. She loves its culture, particularly its food and music! Jen resides uptown with her husband Brian and her kids Lena, Coco and MP and their dog Reese.

Ronnie earned her accounting degree from Loyola University in 2020. She has worked for C&B for a year and half honing her skills in the areas of bookkeeping and tax preparation. Ronnie is a natural problem solver who seeks to work closely with clients in performing the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks required to maintain a healthy organization. She serves clients in many industries from software development to real estate, but she most enjoys working with clients in the nonprofit space where she sees the impact of their work take shape in our community.

Originally from Houston Texas, Chelsie graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2020 with a degree in Mass Communications. Chelsie joined the C&B team in the fall of 2022 as the Office Manager, assisting the team with data entry, administrative tasks, and special projects. With her background in Nonprofit management and administration, Chelsie has experience in project management and identifying internal processes to help any company run as smoothly as possible. New to the accounting world, Chelsie supports the team with bookkeeping, processing tax returns, and client database maintenance to ensure the team can work efficiently and better serve our clients. Outside of C&B, Chelsie loves reading, art, and her cat Peach.
